Drawing Settings

Use this dialog to change the scale or naming of generated drawings.

Where can I find the dialog?

In the Document Quantities... dialog, select Generate - Drawing Settings....

Scale

Use this setting to specify the scale for Generate - Drawing... when needed.

  • Default: Auto – uses the scale of the selected sheet and scales it down to A4 format.
  • Custom: Enter the desired scale manually.

Note

The setting applies until the Document Quantities dialog is closed.

Name

Use this setting in Generate - Drawing... to specify a different drawing name than the default. The default name is Drawing %d.%m.%Y %H:%M:%S.

You can change the order of the values and add other values.

By adding CONTRACTPOSTNUMBER as part of the drawing name, the quantity's contract post number becomes part of the file name. Any contract prefixes and additional prefixes are also included. If you generate documentation for several quantities at the same time, all contract post numbers are added to the file name, sorted alphabetically and separated by -.

The setting applies to all drawings generated after the change is made.

  • Formatting of drawings in quantity documentation

Tip

Use Auto for the scale setting to ensure that drawings always fit the A4 format.
