Introduction

Gemini TunnelShape is an add-on module for Gemini Terrain+ for design, mass calculation, and documentation of scanned tunnels. For mass calculation and documentation, see the separate chapter.

The module lets you design tunnels in accordance with HB 021. During design, you can choose between manual and parametric tunnel definition. With manual definition, you define the transition profiles separately. With parametric definition, the tunnel profile expands together with connected road surfaces. This ensures a transition without angle breaks between wall and roof.

This section describes tunnel modeling with theoretical profile, blasting profile, and roadway. In addition, it covers mass calculation and export of staking data.
